The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), University of Exeter, and The University of Queensland (UQ) are world leading in environmental science with a strong dedication to advancing sustainable development. In a bid to foster tripartite collaboration between ENSURE and the QUEX Institute, the three universities organized the joint virtual symposium and exploratory workshop last November and subsequently launched a joint fund to kick-start collaborative projects in Environmental Sustainability that would leverage the universities’ collective strengths and have the potential to attract external funding. Activities supported include visits, workshops, field works, data collection, and research experiments, among others.
Two awards were made for a project led by CUHK in Marine Science and another one led by Exeter in Climate Change. They are:
